Bookman is a Swedish brand that creates visibility products for design loving urbanites with an active lifestyle. By paying attention to detail and quality, Bookman strives to design smart and beautiful solutions for cyclists, runners and pedestrians that needs to see and be seen in traffic. We believe that safety doesn’t have to be boring and our aim is to grow into a global leader within our niche taking inspiration from successful Swedish companies like POC, Urban Ears and Happy Socks.

We are selling at premium locations in over 30 countries all around the world. Our retailers include stores as Galeries Lafayette in Paris, Åhlens City in Stockholm, museum shops like MoMA in NYC, but also bicycle and sports stores such as Look Mum No Hands in London and ATR in Stockholm. We have also appeared in some cool media forums around the globe; American men’s magazine Details, British GQ, The Sunday Times Style and in WIRED, just to name a few. Bookman currently employs 4 employees at its HQ in Stockholm, Sweden.

We are looking for an Account Manager for Bike and Sports

With new investors onboard and a booming bike industry we are focused on growth and need to expand our sales organization. Your main responsibilities would be to grow sales within Bike and Sports globally. This position is based out of Bookman HQ in Stockholm, Sweden but will include international travelling (when safe). As Account Manager you will be an important member of a small but competent team and will enter the company at an exciting time.

Task and responsibilities

- Communicating with existing retailers by phone, email and visits
- Participating at top international trade shows within primarily sports & outdoor but also fashion and design
- Keeping customers up to date on product, pricing and inventory
- Identifying and contacting new retail customers and distribution partners globally
- Assist sales team in developing strategies for product, POS and promotions
- Possibility to develop and grow your own role and assist in the development of the company as a whole

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a candidate with a true passion for sales and social interaction! You’re a social and outgoing person, with interest in sports and cycling and perhaps fashion or design! You enjoy working in a small entrepreneurial company and is motivated by big opportunities and a fast-paced environment.


You are a doer and are always striving to achieve great results for you and for the team. You are someone that is looking to shoulder responsibility and make a real impact in the organization. The right personality and great internal drive is more important than long experience but it is beneficial for your application if you have:

  • Sales experience
  • Strong English in speech and writing
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
